"We support 12 young carers at Belfairs. They are the ones who come into school and work hard; they never moan, nor complain, or cause any problems; they just get on with their day. SOS Young carers
Defined by their age, Young Carers are between 5 and 25 years. Our Young Carers Cloud sessions have been designed especially to support them; structured to embrace all ages. The sessions can be taken into schools, colleges and universities and are open to all organisations and charities supporting Young Carers.
SOS Young Carers is a Community Interest Company, relying solely on funding from organisations such as Children in Need. The young carers take part in many activities and securing long-term funding is very difficult. It is so important for them to access these resources; not only because they deserve respite, but also lots of fun and enjoyment.
Pro Bono Caring Clouds
As a huge thank you to SOS Young Carers, for their support of family members and also their contribution to our website and social media campaign, each year we will hold a Cloud session for them free of charge.
To cover the cost of pamper bags, we gratefully receive donations from local business, other companies and individuals in providing items to nurture the young carers and their families In return we will happily share any contributions on our social media platforms.
Please note, we believe in inclusivity and togetherness within communities. We do not accept donations from political organisations, nor any organisations promoting division or the exploitation of others.
