"I remember how my Mother used to hold me, God, When I was hurt in spirit or flesh. She would gather me close, stroke my silky hair and caress my back with her warm hands.. O God, I'm so lonely!" - Minnie Remembers by Donna Swanson
For those on long term palliative care and their families, there is generally a little more time for making plans, reflection and creating special memories. Even so, there can still be intense moments of anguish for all involved.
For shorter transitions into end-of-life care, it can seem impossible to see beyond providing personal care and ensuring a loved one’s safety. Acceptance may seem out of reach for many families leaving them feeling rushed and ill-prepared for a journey they have no control over; their entire experience mostly one of fear and stress.
Our gentle Clouds impart therapeutic tools to help a carer and their loved one transition through all stages of palliative and end-of-life care; bringing peace and calm to an otherwise traumatic and heartaching journey.
Our tools are designed for shorter moments of respite, such as five or ten minutes during the day or week. Even brief periods can help carers put aside their worries, cherish precious moments, and create beautiful memories. In an end-of-life setting, touch can bring calm and peace to the dying and acceptance for the carer and other relatives.

Benefits
With focus upon another, even for brief moments, while using the uplifting therapeutic tools from a Cloud, will help towards healing heartache and create inner peace and acceptance for both carer and cared-for.
Using our gentle hand and arm massage technique and therapeutic tools will help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing blood pressure and increasing levels of oxytocin of both carer and cared-for; heightening feelings of contentment and wellbeing.
Giving gentle hand and arm massage to a loved one can boost a carer's confidence in their ability to offer comfort and support and can overcome feelings of helplessness.
Incorporating massage into caring for a loved one addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of wellbeing. It reduces stress and anxiety, improves sleep quality and eases muscle tension.
